My recent stay at Afribode'S Icon was fantastic! I stayed there for a week for business purposes and found the studio apartment to be a good size with all the conveniences I needed. The location was perfect, very central and easy to get around from. Plus, the apartment had a lovely view of parts of Table Mountain. The kitchen was impressively well stocked, even had baking equipment. The shower was great and the decor was pleasing. I also appreciated the meet and greet person mentioning the Food Lovers Market and nearby convenience stores for self-catering purposes. This place is a gem and definitely better value than a hotel.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We were blown away by the complete kitchenware provided, including a washing machine and ironing equipment. the location was perfect, and the gym was well-equipped. We felt safe with the excellent security systems in place. the late check-out option was a great bonus, and we definitely felt like we got value for our money. the decor and ambiance of the apartment were lovely, and everything we needed for our trip was provided. the bed was comfortable, the linen was crisp and clean, and the free Wi-Fi was a huge plus, especially for someone like me who relies on internet access for business. Apartment 501 was tidy, secure, and well-furnished by the owner, Colin. We would highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a self-catering option.
Everything was fantastic! 😊

The kitchenware was mind-blowingly complete, with an electric kettle, cookware, and utensils. The apartment had a washing machine and ironing equipment, and the location was super convenient. The gym was well-equipped and the safety systems were top-notch. Late check-out was a bonus, making it great value for money. The location was perfect for reaching all points of interest on foot, including the convention center just 5 minutes away. The modern furniture and decoration, along with the huge flat-screen TV, added to the jaw-dropping experience. The two included parking spots were a plus, and there was a nice breakfast restaurant in the building. The meet and greet person should mention the nearby Food Lovers Market and other convenience stores for self-catering. This place was much better value than a hotel, and we will definitely look for self-catering apartments in the future. We had a great stay, with clean property and friendly staff.

The apartment we stayed at during Christmas was amazing! the wifi was excellent and unlimited, allowing us to easily stay connected and share our holiday photos with friends and family. the apartment had excellent facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine and a full-sized fridge. We were able to cook our own meals and save money on eating out. the location of the apartment was perfect. It was centrally located, close to all the attractions we wanted to visit, and had easy access to public transportation.
There were a few downsides to our stay. the check-in process was a bit frustrating as the host was late in handing over the keys.
